Netizens disappointed with Girl’s Day debut stage

Netizens were not satisfied with five member girl group Girl’s Day’s debut stage, which took place on Music Bank yesterday. These girls finally performed live for their fans with their title track Tilt My Head and were not well-received.

Though people had high expectations for them, they did not sound too good live. They sounded out of breath and were off key at parts.

Netizens wrote,

“I’m really tilting my head myself.”
“They need more practice.”
“I guess my hopes were too high because this was a big disappointment.”
“Please do better next week.”
“They won’t go anywhere with that.”

Ouch! But I agree, they sounded horrible. Yes, I’m being that harsh. And note to the girls: Just because rapping is in-style in Kpop doesn’t mean you have to force someone who can not rap to do so.

The girls will next perform on Music Core this afternoon.

G7 members perform a concert for army men on Invincible Youth

Cute and sexy G7 members performed a hot stage for Korea’s army men.

In KBS Invincible Youth’s episode aired on the 9th, G7 members Narsha, Victoria, Hyomin, Sunhwa, Jooyeon and Hara all performed individual sects of their talents for these soldiers. The youngest member Hara danced along to the children’s song Three Little Bears in order to show off her cute image as the youngest and then proceeded to show her sexy image as well by partly taking off her clothes.

On the other hand, Hyomin transformed into a cat and sung Cherry Filter’s My Cat while Narsha sung and rapped along to Tasha’s Warning song. In addition, girl group Secret and popular senior group Koyote also visited as guests in order to make a greater performance.

In response to the G7 members’ performance, the army soldiers showed great interest as they sang along with the girls and cheered passionately.

Hyomin tears again over Sunny’s empty presence on Invincible Youth

As most of you may recall, on the teary episode of Invincible Youth when it came time for 4minute’s HyunA, and SNSD’s Sunny and Yuri to leave, T-ara’s Hyomin started to drop tears while she was reading a farewell letter to Sunny.

Several reporters flocked over to the KangWonDo Yuchiri area, the scene where the filming for the recent Invincible Youth was taking place. During an interview with Hyomin, she started to tear once again as the topic of Sunny began being discussed.

When Kim Shin Young revealed, “After Sunny left, she said over the phone ‘once you get to know Hyomin, she is naive. So please take care of her well’,” tears started to well in Hyomin’s eyes.

In response to that, Hyomin sadly expressed, “Her empty presence is quite large,”and then brightly stated, “But, now I’m doing well.”

Son Dambi’s Queen MV hit with plagiarism allegations

Singer Son Dambi released her music video for title song Queen back on the 7th where we got to see a fresh new video featuring the diva that was enjoyed by most.

Well, it turns out her music video director decided to take an easy way out according to some netizens.

On the 8th, netizens noticed the similarity in both Son Dambi’s Queen music video and Syfy’s TV miniseries, Alice which aired in America last year.

The photos above show the scenes that were clearly plagiarized with Queen to the right and Alice to the left.

Pledis Entertainment agency officials stated, “We did not think this would start a plagiarism controversy. We will speak with the music video director who will then release an official statement.”

It seems that the plagiarism accusations haven’t been slowing down lately . It’s just too bad that Son Dambi was the target and she was probably unaware.

IU accidentally drops Music Bank trophy and kisses Taeyang!

Talented cutie singer IU recently dropped her Music Bank trophy by mistake after claiming her first K-Chart victory back on July 2nd with Seulong.

She posted up the photos back on the 7th to her minihompy and stated the following for the first picture, “Oh, I dropped it ㅠ. ㅠ.” She continued to comment her second picture with, “Yes, yes! I’ll paste it together keke.”

Netizens commented on her cuteness overload with, “The first time you get a Music Bank trophy and it broke, sad to hear,” “It’s not fair this happened to you,” and “That’s sad but you’re so cute!”

It’s quite a common mistake for the top part of the trophy to fall off due to its’ awkward design. If you recall, the same thing happened to 2NE1’s Sandara Park while she was performing her encore and accidentally kicked the trophy.

Poor girl. Well, maybe not so poor. She did get to kiss Taeyang while recording Heroes so that’s surely a sign of good luck (and future minihompy closure).
